This can create a better opportunity for a neighbor, or the passer by to hear your alarm sounding when an attic external siren is installed. An interior siren is a very important warning device and is a vital part of your security system. It is an accurate device for the noise level it creates to warn YOU if you are home of any harmful situations, and an accurate device to warn the intruder that you are protected. However, your home or surroundings themselves can muffle the level of sound the interior siren creates where your system sounding could go unheard, or any intruder could also destroy it from where it is mounted if it is accessible. The addition of an attic external siren provides a better opportunity that your system will be heard in any emergency situation, as well as a backup warning device that an intruder would not likely take the time or labor to locate if the primary interior siren is damaged or destroyed.
